Chaque Hot Spring

In Tibetan, "Chaque" means hot spring. There are multiple hot spring sources in Chaque Township, Biru County, scattered along sections between Ripu Village and Daorenduo Village in Chaque Township. Located 49 kilometers from Biru County, the area enjoys convenient transportation and has seen relatively high development and utilization. The hot springs in our township are naturally formed mineral springs due to geothermal activity. The water is clear and transparent, colorless and odorless, with a temperature of 53 degrees Celsius and a pH level of 7.4, classifying it as a high-temperature weakly alkaline saline mineral spring. The spring water contains a variety of minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur, as well as a certain amount of radioactive elements like radon and radium. It can replenish a large number of trace elements, relieve fatigue, eliminate minor surface inflammations, soothe itching, remove dead skin and aging keratin, revitalize the skin, and effectively improve skin issues such as acne, pimples, and enlarged pores. After bathing, the skin becomes silky smooth and delicately radiant. It also promotes blood circulation, accelerates metabolism, and when the minerals from the hot spring penetrate the skin through the epidermis, their beautifying and skin-enhancing effects become even more pronounced. The warmth of the hot spring dilates capillaries, while the mechanical buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure of the water provide massage-like effects, along with astringent, anti-swelling, and pain-relieving benefits. It is especially effective for rheumatoid arthritis, Kashin-Beck disease, neurasthenia, hypertension, skin conditions, chronic gynecological diseases, and post-surgical recovery. For healthy individuals, soaking in the hot spring can refresh the body, boost energy, and relieve fatigue.
