Houyi Park
A national AA-level scenic spot, located northwest of Jinyang Bridge in Hede Town. It covers an area of nearly 40 hectares, with a total investment of over 50 million yuan. The park was initially constructed in early 2004 and opened to visitors on May 10, 2005. It was established based on the origin of the county name “Sheyang” and the cultural legend of “Houyi Shooting the Suns.” The park features cultural landscapes themed around “Houyi Shooting the Suns,” as well as leisure and entertainment facilities such as a fishing center, water cruises, sightseeing vehicles, a children’s square, an elegant teahouse, and a cultural island. In 2009, it was successfully rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction.
