Snowstorm Pass
Snowstorm Pass is a strategic mountain pass through the Gaoligong Mountains, serving as a vital gateway from inland China to areas beyond Pianma. Situated at an altitude of 3,153 meters, the terrain here is rugged and treacherous. It has been a fiercely contested military location since ancient times. During the British occupation of Pianma, boundary markers were unilaterally erected here; later, when the Japanese invaded Southeast Asia, they built fortifications in this area.
