Qingtan Peak
Introduction Situated in the southeastern part of Huangshan Mountain, it is one of the 36 major peaks, with an elevation of 1,512 meters. On the western side of the peak lies a water source, from which mountain spring water flows down over thousand-foot cliffs, forming the Hundred-Zhang Waterfall (also known as Hundred-Zhang Spring). Below the waterfall are Qingtan and Hundred-Zhang Pools. The pool water flows into the Xiaoyao Stream, and the peak is named after the pools.
