National Botanical Gardens
Introduction
The unique natural features of Seychelles have created many exclusive environments for plant evolution. The Victoria National Botanical Gardens are home to many rare and valuable plants, including the unusual screw pine and jellyfish tree, the peculiar pitcher plant, orchids, and tall broadleaf trees. Seychelles' national treasure, the coco de mer, can also be seen here. For those wishing to observe some unique animal species, such as giant tortoises, geckos, chameleons, and flying foxes, you can visit the national parks and nature reserves.
