Beneath the "Dragon’s Backbone" in Maocong River's Shunshui Bay, the clear waters reflect the slender, graceful figure of a "Jade Maiden" who bows her head quietly, gazing at the mortal world. Locals commonly call her the "Stone Beauty." Legend says she is the incarnation of a particularly intelligent, beautiful, and knowledgeable youngest daughter created by the mother goddess Nüwa. Nüwa was the first to compile genealogies, and before the invention of writing, the Jade Maiden was tasked with using rock formations and strata lines as symbols to record and manage the historical records and genealogies of human society and tribal clans—these records were thus called "Jade Genealogies." Right at the water’s edge are two cliffs made of ancient rock layers, stacked in countless layers, neat and orderly, half above and half below the water, resembling a "collection of ten thousand volumes of books." This is said to be the place where the Jade Maiden stored the genealogies under Nüwa’s command—the "Celestial Platform of Genealogical Scriptures."

"Every family having a genealogy is like a nation having its roots." Master Wang Yangming personally compiled many genealogies in his lifetime and believed that "genealogies hold great righteousness." Genealogies remain one of the most magnificent components of Chinese ethnic surname culture today.
