Dishuiyan Waterfall is a nature wonder full of mystique. The Derung people call Dishuiyan "Habaiyicheng," which means "water falling from the moon."
On the left side of Dishuiyan Waterfall is the roaring Dulong River, and on the right is a cliff hundreds of meters high. A powerful stream of water gushes out from a recess in the middle of the cliff, crashing onto the rocks along the Dulong Riverbank. It splashes up water columns over ten meters high, directly plunging into the Dulong River, creating thick mist across the surrounding area. The massive vapor waves rush over a hundred meters to the opposite bank of the Dulong River, shaking tree branches all around. The waterfall is about 200 meters high and 17–18 meters wide, with a water flow of four to five cubic meters per second.
