The scenic area is located along the Purindan River section of the Maxi River, within the eastern gateway to Huangshan—renowned as the “Mountain that makes all other mountains pale after you’ve seen it.” The crystal-clear, rapid river contrasts beautifully with the majestic and unique peaks of Huangshan. Hiking the mountain and rafting the river complement each other, creating a delightful and unique experience in southern Anhui. The area is filled with the fragrance of flowers, birdsong, and picturesque scenery. Towering cliffs line both sides of the river, surrounded by dense forests, lush bamboo, and deep valleys. Sitting on a raft, watching the green mountains race by and fish dart beneath the clear water evokes a feeling of returning to simplicity and reconnecting with nature.
Within the 8-hectare scenic area, there are participatory attractions such as the Nü’er Zhuang complex featuring Jiangnan-style architecture, a countryside-style teahouse, Mom’s Barbecue House, ethnic song and dance performances, and bonfire parties. These additions bring leisure and entertainment elements to the rafting experience, enriching the tour content and giving it a distinctive character.
