Banana Grove Cool Spring

Located in Qixin Village, Sicun Town, Xiangzhou County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Accessible via Provincial Highway 20134. Approximately 92 kilometers from Liuzhou City. It is a tourist resort area ideal for escaping the heat and swimming. Nestled against hills and beside water, the site offers a tranquil and elegant setting with about 200,000 square meters of banana groves. Within these groves are hundreds of springs of various sizes, the largest of which lies at the western edge of the banana grove, at the foot of Guxing Ridge since ancient times. This spring originates from underground limestone caves in Guxing Ridge that store abundant groundwater. The water flows eastward but is blocked by underground rocks, emerging under high pressure through fissures. The cool spring water is sweet in taste—excellent for brewing tea or making wine, enhancing their flavors. Even in the peak of summer, the water temperature never exceeds 20°C, providing a refreshing and cool sensation during the hot season. Travelers often stop to admire the springs, wash in them, and enjoy drinking the water. Major attractions include the Green Banana Grove and Guxing Stream. Recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, beer pavilion, and barbecue hut are built near the banana grove.
