The Tomb of Qin Liangyu is situated 7 kilometers east of Shizhu County, spanning more than 20 hectares, and was constructed in the fifth year of the Shunzhi era (1648) of the Qing Dynasty. It faces the Long River and is backed by HuiLong Mountain. The cemetery is densely shaded by lush pines, while the area outside is bordered by graceful bamboo. At the center of the tomb site lie two burial mounds of Qin Liangyu. It is said that there are a total of 48 tombs attributed to her, but it remains unclear which are genuine. The central gravestone here bears the inscription: “...Tomb of the Noble Lady Qin, the Loyal and Chaste Marquis ZhenSu, Guardian of the Crown Prince.” The horizontal plaque reads “Renowned for a Lifetime,” and the couplet on both sides states: “Inheriting lands and upholding virtue with grace; in brocade robes and silk sashes, she upheld the dignity of office; aiding the Ming dynasty with loyalty, a peerless heroine famed for martial prowess.” On either side of the stele are carved stone qilin (mythical creatures), along with a green lion, white elephant, stone statues, and stone horses. The cemetery also houses more than 20 tombs of Qin Liangyu’s siblings, descendants, and subordinate generals. In front of the tomb complex, one can see the “Fairy Cave” along the banks of the Long River, which is a cluster of cliff coffins.
