Shui Street

Upturned eaves and flying rafters; the outlines of an antique-style architectural complex are already taking shape; meandering artificial waterways wind through the buildings, allowing you to experience the old Yancheng charm. Yancheng Shui Street is located adjacent to Chuan Chang River, situated between Dongjin Road and Century Avenue. It is the main scenic area of the Historic and Cultural Zone of Sea Salt Heritage. This scenic area is dedicated to showcasing local cultural features. Here, you can watch folk art performances and cultural shows, taste local snacks, and shop for tourism cultural merchandise and locally produced specialty goods. In addition to Shui Street, the Historic and Cultural Zone of Sea Salt Heritage also includes the China Sea Salt Museum, a Food Street, an Entertainment Street, and Shuicheng (Water City), among other sections.
