Xiangsheng Rock faces Yunwo across a stream. It is also called “Echo Valley” because calls and laughter from visitors produce clear echoes. The rock surface is covered with inscriptions, including three pieces written by Zhu Xi, such as “Thus flows all created things.”
Below the rock lies a stone leaning by the stream, known as Inkfish Stone; to the right of the rock is another stone called Crow Stone, which juts into the stream and forms a dangerous rapid known as “Crow Rapid.”
