Sanjie Temple

Originally named Sanqing Pavilion, it was later renamed Sanjie Temple. Located to the right of the government office and at the foot of the right side of Cui Ping Mountain, it faces south and consists of five structures with exquisitely carved details. These buildings are all constructed with fine timber. The temple’s entrance porch is supported by two stone pillars, each 5.6 meters high, resting on bluestone bases. Upon entering the gate, you will find a stage. Beneath the stage is a square courtyard where audiences can watch performances. To the south of the courtyard is the main hall, covering a construction area of 168 square meters. In the center of the hall is a shrine that houses statues of deities such as Sanjie Gong. In front of the shrine is an area for offering incense and worship, where pine and cypress trees, along with pomegranate trees, are over 300 years old. The entire Sanjie Temple covers an area of three mu. The temple reopened to the public in 2003 and attracts many worshippers, enjoying extremely prosperous incense offerings.
