Huanggang Mountain Grand Canyon

　　Huanggang Mountain Grand Canyon is just 38 kilometers from Wuyishan. With the new highway open, the drive to Wuyishan is only 360 kilometers and takes about 4 hours. Da’anyuan is known as the “Jiuzhaigou Paradise of Fujian,” featuring millennia-old primeval forests with a forest coverage rate of 98%. Da’anyuan has six scenic areas, among which Huanggang Mountain Grand Canyon and Longguiyuan Scenic Area were newly opened to visitors in 2009. The area boasts six major attractions: the geological wonder “Huanggang Mountain Grand Canyon,” the “Pot Hole” site famous for its dozens of uniquely shaped deep pools, the “Desert Spring” massive rock waterfall comparable to Baishuiyang, and a rafting route lined with thousands of wild bayberry trees.
