Mtarazi Falls is the 17th highest waterfall in the world by height and is the second highest in Africa as well as the tallest in Zimbabwe. The Mtarazi River plunges dramatically over the cliff edge, forming a magnificent two-tiered waterfall that cascades down from a height of 762 meters, creating a spectacular sight. The Mtarazi River flows year-round, but the falls are at their most powerful and impressive between February and April. During the dry season in October, the water flow decreases significantly.
