  The former site of the enlarged meeting of the Guangxi Special Committee of the CPC is located on Rongxing Street in Guicheng Town, present-day Guigang City. This building is an ordinary three-courtyard, single-bay two-story commercial shop. At that time, the owner, Zhang Guocai, was an underground member of the CPC, and the Party organization used this place as a secret liaison station. On June 16, 1928, the enlarged meeting of the Guangxi Special Committee of the CPC was secretly held on the second floor of the rear section of the shop. The meeting was presided over by Deng Baoqi, Secretary of the Guangxi Special Committee, and guided by Yun Daiying, a member of the Central Committee. The meeting elected 15 committee members including Zhu Xiangang, Deng Baoqi, Lei Jingtian, Dong Quanhan, Yu Shaojie, and Guo Jinshui. Zhu Xiangang was appointed secretary, and Dong Quanhan as deputy secretary. On February 26, 1963, the People's Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region designated the residence as a key cultural relic protection unit of the autonomous region.

  Zhu Xiangang (1887~1929)  Zhu Xiangang (April 1887 – June 1929), courtesy name Shixing, also known under the aliases Zhang Zhixian, Lao Huang, Wang Ya’er, and Yi Kang. He was from Bobai County, Guangxi. Born into a family of teachers, he ranked first in the provincial imperial examination at the age of 16. In 1907 during the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign in the Qing Dynasty, he entered the Guangdong Experimental School (later renamed Guangdong Higher Industrial School). During his time there, he joined the Tongmenghui (Chinese Revolutionary Alliance) and participated in the Huanghuagang Uprising on March 29 in Guangzhou.   Deng Baoqi (1903~1932)   Deng Baoqi (June 1903 – October 1932), also known as Deng Gang, with aliases Teng Bai, Boqi, and Baixi. He was from Huaiji County, Guangxi (present-day Huaiji County, Guangdong Province). In 1917, the 6th year of the Republic of China, he entered Huaiji County Middle School.   Lei Jingtian (1904~1959)  Lei Jingtian (1904–1959), originally named Rongpu, with the courtesy name Jingtian. His father, Lei Zaihan, was a veteran of the 1911 Revolution in Nanning. Lei Jingtian was a leading figure in Nanning during the May Fourth Movement and later served as head of the Propaganda Department of the Political Department at Whampoa Military Academy.   Dong Quanhan (1906~1929)  Dong Quanhan (1906–1929) was from West Fifth Street in Guicheng Town. In 1924, he entered the Second Provincial Middle School of Wuzhou. During the May 30th Movement in 1925, he joined the student-formed "Boycott of Enemy Goods Committee" in Wuzhou, which sealed and burned British and Japanese goods. In the same year, he joined the Communist Youth League. In the autumn of 1926, he entered the First Provincial Middle School of Guangdong. While in Guangzhou, he participated in revolutionary activities and joined the CPC in the same year. In December 1927, he took part in the Guangzhou Uprising and was wounded.   Yu Shaojie (1907~1928)  Yu Shaojie (1907–1928) was from Heshan County, Guangdong Province (now Gaohai County). He was a student of the third class at Whampoa Military Academy. He joined the CPC in October 1925. In March 1926, he was assigned by the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC to work in Nanning, Guangxi.   Guo Jinshui (1903~1928)  Guo Jinshui (1903–November 1928), from Deqing County, Guangdong Province, was born into a poor farming family. Orphaned at a young age, he went alone to Wuzhou in his teens to apprentice at a shoe store. In the spring of 1924 (the 13th year of the Republic of China), Guo became an executive member of the Wuzhou Shoemakers’ Union. In early 1926, he joined the CPC.
