Located on the hill behind the headquarters of the Bawangling Forestry Bureau, the entire cluster covers an area of 3.0 hectares, with an average tree age of about 100 years, an average height of about 10 meters, and an average diameter at breast height of about 30 centimeters. The banyan trees grow on rocks, with lush and intricately arranged root systems, a feature unique to tropical rainforests.
