Located in Changping Village, Moudao Town, Lichuan City, it was built in the 22nd year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1896). This four-pillared, three-gated, three-story stone archway spans 7.35 meters in width and stands 10.5 meters tall, topped with a pagoda-style roof. The lintels feature bas-relief and openwork carvings of dragons, phoenixes, flowers, plants, lions, elephants, and narrative scenes of figures. Plaques inscribed with “Imperial Decree Honoring” and “Chastity and Filial Piety Archway of Madam Man, Wife of Mr. Chen Xiaoke” are embedded between the pillars. The entire structure is majestic and elaborately built, considered a treasured example of similar architecture in western Hubei and eastern Sichuan. (Fifth Batch)
