Mingyue River Yuehu Eco-Agricultural Sightseeing Park

　　Mingyue River Yuehu Eco-Agricultural Sightseeing Park is situated along both banks of the Mingyue River section in Panshi Town, Tongchuan District. It is a key tourism development attraction invested by Sichuan Bozhi Eco-Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and an important component of Tongchuan District's "Dual-Core, Dual-Belt, Six-Zone" strategy to create the Panshi Urban Agricultural Experience Area. The scenic area spans 12,000 acres and features major amusement facilities as well as supporting amenities such as offices, dining, and hotels. Located on the banks of the Mingyue River within the Panshi section, it connects to the Dazhou–Kaijiang Road (Panshi section) of National Highway G542 and is adjacent to the Panshi exits of the Dazhou–Wanzhou and Dazhou–Yingshan expressways. It is about 12 kilometers from the urban area. Nestled against mountains and by the water, the park boasts beautiful scenery, fresh air, and picturesque views.

　　The park primarily focuses on rural leisure vacations, tourism and cultural sightseeing, folk culture displays, dining and tea tasting, large-scale amusement, and social elderly care. It offers service products such as conferences, business events, wedding and birthday celebrations, amusement activities, and outdoor sports, making it a great destination for residents of Dazhou to enjoy a slower pace of life and breathe fresher air. Since opening in May 2015, it has successfully hosted events such as the Chrysanthemum Festival, Dream Light Festival, and Royal Circus Festival, welcoming 500,000 visitors.

　　According to reports, in recent years, Tongchuan District has continuously increased investment in tourism infrastructure construction at scenic spots rich in local resources, further improving the visiting environment. In terms of tourism service supervision, the district has focused on scenic area developers and enterprises to enhance service levels and establish a comprehensive tourism service standard system. In implementing these standards, the district has emphasized meeting tourism service requirements, ensuring effective implementation, and achieving notable results in demonstration projects.

　　Moving forward, the district will focus on the six essential elements of tourism—food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment—to continuously improve tourism infrastructure and supporting facilities. The goal is to elevate the overall quality of tourism in the scenic areas, aiming to establish Tongchuan District as a new driving force in "all-for-one tourism" within 3 to 5 years.
