Sétif

　　    Sétif is situated in northeastern Algeria, approximately 190 miles east of Algiers, serving as the capital of Sétif Province. It is a well-known university city in Algeria and home to the University of Ferhat Abbas – Sétif.

　　    Founded as early as 225 BC, Sétif is currently the second-largest military region in Algeria after the capital, Algiers. The city’s economy primarily relies on trade and industry. In the city center, there is a large amusement park for children and a zoo where visitors can observe animals. Strolling through the streets of Sétif, with its tree-lined avenues, graceful fountains, and colorful theaters, gives one the feeling of being in romantic France.
