Jinhua Bayong Park
Bayong Park is situated on the riverside greenbelt north of the Wujiang River, east of Jinhua’s Wuzhou Park. With construction funds exceeding 60 million yuan, the park spans 126,000 square meters. Designed in the style of a classical Chinese garden, its aesthetic blends seamlessly with the ancient Zicheng area and the nearby Bayong Tower. The park features a large waterfront dock, three memorial archways, a central plaza, multiple other plazas, as well as a military drilling platform, Yangmu Pavilion, Linju Pavilion, colonnades, covered walkways, scenic walls, three public restrooms, and an underground parking garage spanning over 8,000 square meters. The park’s trees are arranged to reflect biodiversity, with a landscape dominated by wooded areas, sparse woods, and grassy lawns. The terrain is designed in harmony with the city’s flood defenses, creating undulating changes. The entire Piuping Road and the eastern section of Wujian Road are integrated with the park’s greenery, forming a continuous forested corridor. Bayong Park is located at the confluence of three rivers and faces the Jinhua Grand Theater across the river.
