The mosque is built from brick and sandstone, measuring 80 meters in length and 60 meters in width. It is adorned with elegant arched windows and beautiful ceramic tilework, making it one of the most photogenic structures in Marrakech. The minaret, made of red stone and standing 77 meters tall, is an iconic landmark of the city. Locating this towering minaret will always help you find your way. Inside, the mosque features six rooms, and the prayer hall is T-shaped, supported by over 100 columns forming arches. The central nave is surrounded by several side aisles, with the longest hall stretching 36 meters.
