Yutun Mountain Coastal Park
Yutun Mountain is situated near the Pearl Bay Scenic Area in Dongping Town, Yangdong County. At an elevation of 69.9 meters and with an average annual temperature of 23.3°C, it enjoys a pleasant subtropical maritime monsoon climate. In 2001, Yangdong County established a preparatory working group for Yutun Mountain Coastal Park. Drawing inspiration from the millennia-old local legend "Pearl Bay and the Mandarin Duck Stones," the park was developed to integrate historical culture with regional customs. The centerpiece is a 30-meter-tall artistic statue in the style of the Tang and Ning dynasties, known as the "Pearl Fisher Girl." Nestled between mountain and sea, the park exudes both the simplicity of traditional design and the vibrancy of nature. Unlike typical regional tourism destinations, it serves as a showcase of South Asian tropical scenery, focusing on fishing village folk culture and the natural ecological environment. The park is divided into six scenic areas.
