The Shiquan Lotus Stone is located only 10 kilometers from the county town and lies close to the Anshi (Ankang–Shiquan) secondary highway. The canyon in this region, shaped by the Han River over thousands of years, stretches over two kilometers in length. Along both banks, naturally formed stone stalagmites and stone flowers emerge—white in color and smooth in texture. Their shapes resemble petals: some appear to be in bud, while others seem to have blossomed fully. Visitors here feel as though they’ve entered a fairyland. According to research, the formation of this white stone belt has taken hundreds of millions of years.
