Ziluo Mountain

Ziluo Mountain is situated to the south of Yangdong County, 50 kilometers from the county seat of Yangdong and 4 kilometers from Xinzhou Town. It borders Taishan to the east, Enping City to the north, faces the sea to the south, and features high terrain in the east that gradually descends westward. The mountain range extends southward, with its main peak reaching an elevation of 793 meters.

Ziluo Mountain boasts stunning natural scenery, including the Nanjing Reservoir and Xiashui Reservoir—where high mountains cradle calm lakes—misty waterfalls, crystal-clear streams teeming with fish, and the towering Ziluo Mountain peak at 793 meters standing by the sea. Other highlights include the Fisherman Watching the Sea Rock and remnants of revolutionary history. With its abundant natural beauty, the area attracts visitors from far and wide. Especially during the hot summer months, its serene, bird-filled, and fragrant environment makes it an exceptional destination for vacationing, escaping the heat, and leisure. With some further development, it has the potential to become a major tourist attraction drawing visitors from all directions.

Ziluo Mountain’s dense forests and lingering mist create an air of mystery. This land also holds the glorious legacy of many heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation. In the early years after liberation, several revolutionary martyrs fought more than ten battles in Ziluo Mountain to liberate Yangjiang, suppress bandits, and overthrow tyrants. Their heroic spirits remain, and their deeds are forever engraved in the hearts of the people of Yangjiang.
