Yunxiu Temple
Yunxiu Temple is situated in Yunxiu Mountain, Erdu Township, Deqing County. It was first constructed in the eighth year of the Chunxi period during the Song Dynasty, and after experiencing multiple rises and declines, it was restored in the fifth year of the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty. The mountain was formerly home to the Qingyun Pagoda, hence also known as Pagoda Mountain. The temple lies against Yuping Peak and is surrounded by major peaks such as Da’niu Mountain, Jiaozi Peak, Housun Mountain, and Yiqiu Ridge, all encircling the area with lush bamboo and thriving pines. Inside the temple grounds are ancient plum trees from the Song Dynasty and evergreen osmanthus trees that bloom in all seasons, creating picturesque scenery that makes it a popular tourist destination.
