Haidian Museum

　　Haidian Museum is a newly built comprehensive regional museum of Haidian District. Its collection includes a wealth of cultural relics spanning various periods from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties and even to modern times, encompassing more than ten categories such as porcelain, jade artifacts, gold and silverware, and bronze ware. Through permanent and special exhibitions, the museum showcases and promotes the great historical process and splendid culture of the Chinese nation to the public both at home and abroad, while also introducing the historical changes and social development of Haidian District.

　　Haidian Museum is located on the basement level of Haidian Theater, with a construction area of 1,631 square meters and an exhibition area of 754 square meters. It is a newly built comprehensive regional museum. Its mission is to protect various historical relics, promote the region’s historical culture, enhance cultural exchanges between regions, and advance the district’s spiritual civilization. Its tasks include preserving relics unearthed or collected in the area, as well as conducting scientific preservation and academic research on these cultural relics.

　　Haidian Museum serves multiple functions including cultural relic exhibitions, art exhibitions, and press conferences. It displays selected unearthed relics from the district, facilitates specialized relic exchanges between regions and international relic exhibitions, hosts exhibitions of works by domestic and international artists, collections by collectors, and previews of items from domestic auction houses. Additionally, it undertakes business activities such as small-scale product launches for high-tech products, thereby promoting Haidian District's long and rich history and culture, building a base for social and cultural education, and meeting the public's spiritual and cultural needs in exploring the profound historical legacy of the Chinese nation.
