Haihe River Scenic Line

　　     The Haihe River Scenic Line starts at Sanchakou and ends at Daguangming Bridge, stretching across the bustling urban area of Tianjin. It is like a long scroll of scenic beauty, making Tianjin even more enchanting. Its charm is evident in the captivating Haihe Park, the world-renowned Wanghailou Church, and the majestic "Laolongtou Railway Station" – Tianjin Railway Station... But what captivates visitors the most is the shimmering light and reflections on the water after nightfall, a ceaseless flow of beauty. The various lights along both banks, dim and bright, cast their reflections on the river, floating like gorgeous colorful clouds. The gentle current then carries these clouds of light far into the distance, stirring boundless reverie. In Tianjin, there is a saying of "Seventy-Two Harbors" (七十二沽), and the Haihe River is sometimes referred to as "Gu Water" (沽水). Hence, the poetic term “Gu Water Flowing with Rosy Clouds” (沽水流霞) was born.
