Jixiang Fuhui Temple is an AA-level scenic spot. Located in Menkeqing Gacha, Zhasake Town, Yijinhuoluo Banner, it was built in 1736 and is the family temple established in his hometown of Ordos by the 9th Urgen Gandan. When the 3rd Panchen Lama passed through Ordos on his way to Beijing to meet Emperor Qianlong, he bestowed upon it the name “Jixiang Fuhui Temple.” It was demolished during the Cultural Revolution in 1966. From 1990 to 1998, the temple was rebuilt with 2 million yuan raised by the 11th Urgen Gandan (currently a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China, Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolia CPPCC, and President of the Inner Mongolia Buddhist Association, Urgen Galasentubudan Chilinima). On May 18, 1998, a grand ceremony was held for the completion and consecration of the rebuilt temple. The original site now features a one-courtyard temple complex, with a main hall of five bays and three smaller halls on each side, covering a total area of 4,000 square meters, with a building area of over 2,000 square meters. There are currently 40 resident monks. This grand architectural complex allows visitors to appreciate the profound Buddhist culture of Ordos and its distinctive architectural style.
