Caohejing Development Zone Park
Caohejing Development Zone Park is situated in the Shanghai Caohejing New Technology Development Zone, bordered by Yishan Road to the north, Tianlin Road to the south, and Guiguo Road to the west, covering an area of 4.4 hectares.

The park was designed by the Shanghai Landscape Architecture Design Institute. Construction began in March 1998 and was completed in December of the same year. The park adopts modern landscape design concepts, follows the principle of adapting the garden to local conditions for layout planning, includes excavated lakes and built-up hills to shape the terrain, and is designed as a new type of urban park that embodies ecological landscaping principles, offers strong artistic value, features rich plant landscapes, and has a rational spatial arrangement. There are a total of 111 species of plants within the park.

The overall layout of Caohejing Development Zone Park features a central north-south axis. At the main entrance in the center is an art plaza with a sunken structure. To the south of the art plaza lies an artificial lake, which is visually complemented by an innovatively designed teahouse and a zigzag bridge reconstructed from an original small bridge. Weeping willows line the lakeside, their branches dipping into the water. The lake is home to colorful fish. When the breeze blows, willow catkins drift onto the water surface, creating a scene where movement and stillness harmonize, and stillness and movement coexist in play with the leaping fish.
