      Bahuotu Listening to Springs

Bahuotu Listening to Springs, a transliteration from Mongolian meaning "the place where deer are," sits at an altitude of 3,400 meters and is the source of the Huangshui River. The area boasts numerous springs that gurgle melodiously. The springs are surrounded by lush grassland, home not only to plants such as willows, creeping juniper, silverleaf potentilla, alpine snow lotus, and Caragana jubata, but also rare wildlife including snowcocks and blue sheep.
