Endeavor Park, located southwest of Dongyue Bridge and east of Riverside Avenue adjacent to the Water Park, offers views of boats dancing on rippling waves and the soothing sounds of nature. The overall structure of Endeavor Park consists of five parts: an 18-meter-high arrow-shaped lighthouse, a grand archway spanning 30 meters with a height of 9 meters that is wider in the south and narrower in the north, plaza pathways, flowing fountains, and green lawns. The entire complex exudes both a modern vibe and traditional cultural characteristics. The giant lighthouse, like a cluster of arrows shot from the bow, soars straight into the blue sky, symbolizing the firm determination of the people of Zhenba County to break through all obstacles and pursue development and progress. The grand archway, wider in the south and narrower in the north, implies that the path of Zhenba’s leapfrog development is becoming ever broader and the region’s strength ever more formidable. To the south, four massive stone pillars form the foundational pillars of meaning and emotion for the entire park, symbolizing the united, enterprising, and harmonious spirit of the four key local government bodies: the County Party Committee, the People’s Congress, the Government, and the Political Consultative Conference. The design of Endeavor Park also complements and interacts harmoniously with the surrounding environment, highlighting distinct cultural characteristics. To its southwest lies Black Tiger Ridge, and to the north is a hill known as Sheep Field. In the past, locals often said, “The tiger eats the sheep—no hope.” But the placement of sky-piercing arrow clusters in Endeavor Park is meant to subdue the tiger and nurture the sheep, ushering in good fortune. Endeavor Park embodies the spirit of striving for excellence and forging ahead, encapsulating all the beautiful aspirations and dreams of the people of Zhenba.
