Shou Shan Resort

　　    Shou Shan Resort is situated on Shou Mountain in Shoushan Town, Dongliao County, 8 kilometers from the city center, on the north side of Liaona Highway, offering very convenient transportation. Historical records indicate that in 1682, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty stopped here during a hunting expedition. His stay coincided with his birthday celebrations, and he therefore named the mountain “Shou Shan” (Mountain of Longevity). He also composed three poems here, including “Broken Ramparts Renewed with Grass, Empty City Blooms with Wildflowers.” The nearby town is now named Shoushan Town after this mountain.
