Zhenning City Wall

Originally built in the 16th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1383), it has a circumference of 3,700 meters and is approximately 600 years old. The wall is grand and imposing, constructed from meticulously selected materials, with refined masonry techniques that are both rigorous and sophisticated. Hence, it is known as "Anshun’s Memorial Archways, Zhenning’s City Walls." About 460 meters of the wall remain today and serve as indispensable physical evidence for studying the historical development and location of Zhenning as a city. In 1985, it was designated as a Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the People's Government of Guizhou Province.

Zhenning City Wall is a Provincial-Level Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
