To protect revolutionary sites, commemorate revolutionary events, enhance the patriotic education of the masses, especially the youth, promote the glorious revolutionary traditions of the old revolutionary base areas, and boost the economic and social development of these regions, Yanchi County has built the Soviet Memorial Hall within the Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Park. The memorial hall was constructed following the original layout of the Soviet government building, featuring a traditional Chinese courtyard design. The main house and wing rooms have wooden doors, windows, beams, rafters, and purlins. The walls and roofs are made of faux thatch materials, and the courtyard is paved with cement blue bricks. Covering an area of 730 square meters, the main exhibits include the Mao Zemin Memorial Hall, the creation site of *Wang Gui and Li Xiangxiang*, the former office of the Soviet government, the first consumer cooperative in the Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region—the Yanchi Urban Consumer Cooperative, and the workshop of Yuanhua Factory, all of which recreate the harsh living and working conditions of the revolutionary era. The exhibition methods mainly include photographs, artifacts, oil paintings, sculptures, comic strips, and paper-cuttings.
