Ma'in Hot Springs have been a wellness destination since Roman times, where people went for thermal therapy or simply to enjoy a hot bath. Today, there are four-star hotels and facilities for leisure, bathing, and clinical treatments. Behind the waterfall, there is also a small cave that serves as a natural steam room. The pools contain a large volume of very hot water, though the temperature is slightly lower in the stream valley due to the inflow of cooler water.
Note: Swimsuits are not worn in the hot springs; locals typically bathe fully clothed, and women often do not even remove their headscarves.
Transportation
There are no public buses to the site. You can hire a car in Madaba to visit Mount Nebo and Ma'in Hot Springs for about 15 JD per car.
Admission/Ticket Information: 5 Jordanian dinars. Keep your ticket to access the pool area for changing or swimming.
