King Abdullah Mosque
Introduction King Abdullah Mosque was completed in 1990 and is located in the city center of Amman. It is the largest mosque in Amman and one of the city's iconic landmarks. Its magnificent blue dome adorned with intricate mosaic patterns stands out vividly against the backdrop of white buildings, hence it is also known as the "Blue Dome Mosque." The pair of tall minarets in front of the mosque serve as a reference point for tourists navigating Amman.
