Yellow River Tower

　　The Yellow River Tower is a landmark and commemorative structure built in accordance with the strategic requirements of the autonomous region's Yellow River urban belt development plan. It is situated in the eastern district of Qingtongxia City, within the Qingtongxia section of the Yellow River. The site covers an area of 1,636 mu, with the tower itself designed to stand 95.5 meters tall and featuring a floor area of 20,000 square meters. The total planned investment for the project is 125 million yuan. The "base" of the Yellow River Tower is a 19-meter-high Turtle Mountain, and the overall structure follows a "seven above, nine below" layout—seven visible stories above ground and two underground levels. 　　The Yellow River Tower was built because of the Yellow River, because of Yellow River culture, and because of the saying “The Yellow River enriches Ningxia.” It will become a landmark new highlight for Ningxia and one of the important scenic features along the Yellow River basin. In terms of scale (height and floor area), it is currently the largest of its kind in China, earning it the titles “The First Tower on the Yellow River” and “The Tower of All Towers.” The architectural design and interior exhibits of the Yellow River Tower integrate functions such as showcasing Yellow River culture, sightseeing, cultural heritage, leisure, and tourism. It possesses high cultural heritage value, embodying both the essence of Yellow River culture—reflecting the historical weight of the Yellow River as the Mother River that has carried the Chinese nation—and the spirit of the times: surging, courageous, and ever-flowing. At the same time, it also incorporates the broader historical and cultural backdrop of Ningxia.

　　After its completion, the Yellow River Tower will play a significant role in further exploring and promoting Yellow River culture, showcasing the grandeur of the Mother River, elevating the cultural industry level of Qingtongxia and even the entire region, and boosting the development of economy, culture, and tourism.
