It is ranked among the four most famous types of embroidery in China, alongside Cantonese, Hunan, and Sichuan embroidery. Suzhou embroidery can employ a variety of stitching methods to create works on diverse themes, and in particular, the double-sided embroidery developed in recent decades is considered a true gem of embroidery art.
