Pickled plums, sweet and sour with a crisp texture.
On the morning of July 22, 2005, the China Blackberry High-Level Forum was held in Baima Town, Lishui County, Nanjing. Experts on blackberries from both within and outside the province unanimously designated Baima Town as the "Hometown of Blackberries in China." Native to North America, blackberries are a vine plant with fruits that are sweet and tangy. In 1986, Baima Town began cultivating blackberries, and its current planting area has reached 20,000 mu, ranking first in China. This year, blackberry production has approached 10,000 tons, showing a strong trend of supply falling short of demand. Additionally, Baima Town has also developed and produced eight series of blackberry products, including blackberry beverages, and has won the "Gold Award at the 1995 China High-Tech Products Expo."
