Buddha's Belly: A braised meat product. Produced by the head store of Tianjin Goubuli Baozi using traditional braising methods. It gets its name from the distinct layers of skin that resemble the belly of a Buddha. Features: Firm and cohesive texture, glossy and translucent appearance, savory and salty taste, pleasant without being greasy, and rich in umami flavor.
