Rainbow trout is a world-renowned premium fish species. In the early 1970s, Kim Il-sung, then President of North Korea, once gifted this fish to Premier Zhou Enlai.

This fish is considered valuable not only because of its good meat quality, but also because its breeding conditions are extremely demanding — it must be raised in low-turbidity flowing water (continuous running water). In December 1988, the Liupan Mountain State-owned Forestry Bureau built a 400-square-meter fish pond by the Erlong River and introduced 10,000 rainbow trout fry from Heilongjiang. The fish thrived and reproduced well, and since then, rainbow trout have made their happy home here. The fish is covered with black spots that shimmer faintly red. Its body is slender, boneless, and delicious when cooked, making it a premium delicacy commonly served at banquets. Its nutritional value is no less than that of sea cucumber, bird’s nest, or bear paw.

Huairou rainbow trout is a household name in Beijing, especially when grilled at rural farmhouses — fragrant, flavorful, and visually appealing. Huairou rainbow trout is high-quality and affordable, fresh and delicious, available either à la carte or as set meals. Here, you can enjoy your meal to the fullest and have a great time. Savor the delicious farmhouse cuisine while admiring the surrounding mountains and waters, giving you a feeling of freedom and relaxation.
