　　The Nenjiang Plain is the largest grain-producing base in China, boasting fertile soil and being one of the country’s top sunflower production areas. It benefits from convenient transportation and a wide variety of agricultural products.

The Gannan County Sunflower Professional Cooperative is dedicated to promoting industrial growth and improving farmers’ livelihoods. To elevate product standards and secure greater commercial value and broader market opportunities, it registered the “Yinhe Brand” trademark for locally grown sunflowers and obtained the county’s only provincial-level green food certification. Currently, annual sunflower sales exceed 2,000 tons, generating over 8 million yuan in revenue. Sunflowers have become a local specialty, and Gannan County has earned the reputation as the “Hometown of Sunflowers in China.”
