Northeast sable fur
Sable fur is one of the “Three Treasures of the Northeast” and is known as the “King of Furs.” There are two types of sable fur: sable fur and mink fur, among which sable fur is more precious. Sable fur is a type of fine-haired fur, with excellent leather, soft yet sturdy, thickly furred, and lustrous in color. Especially noteworthy are the uniform white guard hairs hidden within its dark brown fur, i.e., what experts call “ink hiding needles.” Sable fur is ranked as top-grade or premium material for making high-end fur garments due to its luxurious appearance and superior warmth.
