Ji’an is known as a “land of fish and rice.” The rice produced here was served as tribute rice during the Qing Dynasty, exclusively for the emperor and the imperial family.
Ji’an Xinkaihe Tribute Rice
Xinkaihe Tribute Rice, produced by the Ji’an Green Food Industry Association, comes from the paddy fields of Caiyuan Town and Huadian Town within the Xinkaihe River basin in Ji’an City, Jilin Province. It is located between longitude 125°36′–126°52′ and latitude 41°16′–41°27′.
