Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng
Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng -- Nationally recognized famous, special, and high-quality new agricultural product in 2015
The Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng series has been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, the title of “China Famous Brand Agricultural Product,” and “Jilin Province Famous Brand,” among other honors. These products feature tough, deeply textured skin, firm texture, a brownish-red color, translucent horn-like quality, an elongated and elegant shape, a fragrant aroma with a sweet yet slightly bitter taste, and a warm nature without being overly dry. When sliced, their unique and clear growth ring patterns are unmatched by other ginseng products. The development and invention of Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng marked a new chapter in China’s “molded red ginseng” traditional Chinese medicine slices. [1]
Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng is grown in the Xin Kaihe River basin within the territory of Ji’an City, Jilin Province, located in the Changbai Mountain range at 41° north latitude. The area offers the most suitable natural ecological conditions for ginseng cultivation, including climate, water quality, and soil. The raw materials for Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng are cultivated using scientific methods, including root trimming, shaping, and a two-step transplanting process to ensure premium quality. This product is characterized by tough, deeply textured skin, firm texture, a brownish-red color, translucent horn-like quality, a fragrant aroma with a bitter taste, an elegant and elongated shape, high density, and excellent crispness.
Analysis and certification by fourteen research institutions, including the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, have confirmed that Xin Kaihe Red Ginseng is a domestic innovation. Its main physicochemical indicators meet world-class standards. Since its launch, it has been widely welcomed by consumers both in China and abroad.
