Garden ginseng
Garden ginseng refers to the cultivated variety, which takes over five to six years from planting to harvest. It has a relatively large yield, but its medicinal value is lower than that of wild ginseng. It is mainly produced in the northeastern provinces of China, with the largest output and highest quality in Fusong County, Jilin Province, hence it is also called Jilin ginseng.
