　　Chengzi Village is known as the "No. 1 Village of Liaoning Sea Cucumber." Surrounded by sea on three sides and backed by mountains, the village produces a variety of precious seafood including sea cucumbers and abalones. Relying on the "Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone Chengzi Industrial Corporation," the village has engaged in joint ventures and cooperation with multiple domestic and international manufacturers to deeply process seafood, greatly increasing the added value of its products. A wide range of seafood product series have been developed, boosting villagers' incomes. The annual output value is nearly 300 million RMB, with per capita income exceeding 20,000 RMB.

　　　　Chengzi Village is a coastal fishing village with scarce terrestrial resources but abundant marine wealth. Covering a total area of 18 square kilometers, the village has only 2,300 mu of arable land. However, surrounded by water on three sides, it boasts a 15-kilometer coastline. Its unique geographical location and microclimate are highly suitable for sea cucumber cultivation. Chengzi Village is also a sightseeing destination with rich potential tourism resources. The Dalian Chengshantou Coastal Landform Nature Reserve is located at the southern foot of Mopan Mountain in Chengzi Village, bordering the Yellow Sea to the east and southeast, and connected by water to the Golden Pebble Beach National Tourist Resort. With its green mountains, clear waters, serene environment, distant sea meeting the sky, and nearby reefs and islands, it serves as an ideal spot for scientific research, summer retreats, and leisure.

　　　　In recent years, Chengzi Village has been developing in the direction of specialized breeding, standardized and intensive farming, and premium branding, in line with its unique characteristics. Currently, the village has actively integrated existing resources and successfully introduced the Dalian Bangchuidao Seafood Enterprise Group—a powerful and well-funded company specializing in sea cucumber cultivation and processing. Together, they established the Bangchuidao Sea Cucumber Seedling Breeding Base, covering an area of 23,000 square meters. This is the only national-level original breed breeding base for Liaoning sea cucumbers in China. Through successful collaboration with the enterprise in recent years, Chengzi Village has achieved professional breeding, intensive production at scale, and premium branding for its sea cucumbers. Competitive products have been produced, and a well-known brand—"Bangchuidao"—has been established both domestically and internationally. This has transformed Chengzi Village from a traditional economy toward industrial branding, effectively driving the village's economic development and earning recognition from the Ministry of Agriculture. In the recent "One Village, One Product" evaluation campaign organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Chengzi Village was awarded the "One Village, One Product" Construction Achievement Award, thanks to its prestigious "Bangchuidao" sea cucumber brand, and was designated as a key supported project under the "One Village, One Product" initiative.
