Wild ginseng
Dandong in Liaoning Province boasts abundant natural secondary forests, and its climate, soil, and other natural conditions are well-suited for the growth of medicinal herbs. The region has rich resources of plant-based medicinal materials, with over 1,100 varieties, giving it a distinct advantage. Among these are traditional and highly valued herbs such as Shizhu ginseng, wild ginseng, gastrodia elata, Liaoning asarum, and Liaoning schisandra.
