White Meat, Pickled Mustard Greens, and Blood Sausage
White meat, pickled mustard greens, and blood sausage is a traditional Manchu dish, widely loved by people of all ethnicities. It is also a main dish served to family and friends when urban and rural residents host banquets after butchering their New Year's pigs. Sliced pork belly is cut thin and cooked in water along with finely chopped pickled mustard greens, with seasonings added. Once boiling, pre-stuffed, cooked, and diced blood sausage is added to complete the dish. This dish is fragrant without being greasy and highly nutritious.
